Thermal compound "burn-in"?

I've heard this mentioned a few times but I can't seem to find anything definitive on it in google...I'm building a new rig in less than a month with arctic silver 5 thermal compound and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of instructions...or a definition and purpose for that matter. Thanks

Instructions to burn in? Use the computer

Typical burn-in time is about a week or so. Temps will probably get slightly cooler over that time. But of course if the temps are over 60*C or so, you have a problem elsewhere.
