Thermal Paste question

Is the arctic silver 5 paste still the best stuff out there or is there better? I am building a new machine next month and I was wondering should I invest in better stuff or will that be fine?

Also, what are some of other peoples recommendations?

That is what I use and its pretty good. I never go above 35c on load, but I have a huge heatsink and a cool chip.

There's a high quality Shin-Etsu thermal compound out there, but it is far more expensive than AS5. Standard users are perfectly fine using AS5.
