just installed my amd 4200 x2 with fan and heat sink.
will it hurt anything to fire it up without any artic 5 paste.
ive got some on order but, i cant wait to see if it works.
 
I would wait if I were you. Stock paste gets harder to clan up once it's been run. And your saying you have stock paste on there, right? Cuz if you dont have any paste, do not run it. But its up to you, it just might be harder to get the stock stuff off.

If the CPU came in a retail box the heatsink should have the thermal pad on it,if so, it will be fine to run it.
