thermaltake smart fans?

i ordered a couple of these from newegg, and i can't get the fan controller to work. i have it connected to the mb and then to the fan controller, and when i it boots up, the fans are at full blast. i can't figure out if im doing something wrong or maybe the fans are broken. but i doubt that i'd get 2 broken fans in the same order.

check your connections and try manual control again. i want to get those too, tell me how it goes
