What specific budget do you have? That's kind of a low end build as we approach 2016.

Hold off until Black Friday and then see what you can build with your budget. You'll be much happier getting a better CPU/GPU and not having to upgrade as much in the future.

yes will be buying parts on black friday most likely. Not a low end PC for what it is going to be used for (garry's mod, borderlands, and counter strike). this is not a hardcore PC by any means this PC will be used by my entire family all my hardcore gaming like fall out and FPS games will be on xbox one. Just needed to know if all the parts will work.

Try to get a 990 board of you can, since they're a bit newer. Since the price difference is very little, for your original budget you should be able to get much better parts (FX-6300 + GTX 960/R9 290). For $450 I built a Athlon X4 860K & R9 280X system.

Prices always drop substantially. Just keep your eyes peeled :)
