thin blue line

i jsut got vista ultimate, and everytime i load up i see this thn blue line on the side of my monitor, idont now it got there and idont know if its Vista or my video card. does ne one have this problem and can help me

Do you have a TFT/LCD monitor? If so, you could have knocked out a transistor in the monitor, which gives a whole row/column of dead pixels...

That sounds like dead pixels to me.
