Hey guys, thinking about building a new computer, was just running by the parts to you guy to make sure everything is in line, and to remind me if I'm missing something :P

I have hard drives, a psu, and optical drive I'm using from my old computer. I'm assuming power supply power connectors haven't changed since 3 or so years ago, still the same 20/24 pin setup. Video card I'll get a little later, haven't quite decided yet, how does the Radeon HD 7770 compare to the HD 6870?

Also, does the cpu come with a fan/heatsink? I'm under the impression they do, but I don't want to be missing that piece =P

For those wondering why the AMD setup and not intel, is because of money constraints.

A 500 Watt Raidmax with the 20/24 pin connector. I plan on upgrading it when I get the new video card

Looks ok, go for faster clock ram, you picked 1333, go at least 1600mhz, I would upgrade the raidmax PSU now, I got a raidmax 530w modular, its ok for my quad but a 8 core and any graphics I would not trust a old raidmax 500w. Better be safe than sorry and get a corsair or other good band PSU.

Also yes the CPU comes with a heatsink but I would get a aftermarket soon If you plan on overclocking.
