Thinking of buying 'Isys Max 8600 Core 2 Duo' Opinions wanted please!

Hi all, im very new to the whole buying a PC scene. But i am very into playing computer games and so on. My current computer is about 4 years old and as you can expect doesnt work as well as it used to, and i'd like to be able to play some newer games on it e.g. Oblivion and NFS: Carbon, games that are quite demanding. I have been looking around for a mid-ranged PC thats not to expensive but hopefully can satisfy my gaming needs. I found the 'Isys Max 8600 Core 2 Duo' from the novatech website: http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/pcrange.html?PC-1055 (The one i want is on the right) which looked good to me, although i hardly know anything about computer hardware which is why i wanted some help from you guys as to whether it can run these games well. Anyway im going to be purchasing it with the Vista Home Premium edition OS.

So anyway, what i wanted to know was will this computer be able to efficiently play relativley demanding games well. And generally run fast. Also if you think there are any better PC's in my price range (Around £500 - £700) that do a much better job please could you tell me about them. Also if you know of any reviews of this computer could you post me a link to them. Please try to speak in a language i can understand, sorry for being a noob but i dont want to end up buying a PC i wont use.

Well, i have to tell you that comp is pretty good it WILL play most games on high, just dont expect to max out the most demanding games... But overall that is a pretty good pc it has an excellent cpu and enough ram to game. The only thing which is not good nor bad is that it only has 2 memory slots but as i said is not bad, i dont think you will need more than 2GB of ram in these days.

Build one yourself! It'll be cheaper and you get to pick out your parts! I'm pretty sure you can save quite a bit.
 
@ramodkk, Thanks for the reassurance. I just wanted to make sure i wasnt wasting alot of money on a crap computer. (:

@oscaryu1, To be honest i dont really know enough about computers to build my own one. It would probally be easier for me to just buy a decent one that already works.

you don't need to know anything about computers to build one
 
u know about as much as we did when we started building and look where we are.....computer parts aren't as scary as they seem when u don't know...and if you have n interest this is as good a time as any to learn
 
I built my first computer with probably less knowledge then you have right now. Your fine. If you need help we're always here :D
 
it looks like a good comp from its specs and the price isnt bad either....a 8800 would be better though if you game.
