This a good match for AMD 64 x 2 5600 (2.8GHz) or is there better?

Hey guys,

I am in the middle of a first time build, and am going to be going with the processor listed below. Now being a first timer I don't know a lot and could really use some help picking out a good motherboard. Anything under 130.00 is fine, obviously the less expensive the better though. I have listed below the board I am looking at currently on newegg.com. Can anyone help me out and let me know if there is a better board out there to match with this processor in the same range as the one I have listed? I do not do any 3d gaming nor do I watch video or blue ray on my pc. I use it mostly for 2d gaming and internet.

Thanks,

Josh

Oh, this is the video card I am looking at. Is there a better bang for my buck with this also?

Well if you dont do any 3D gaming than you should consider something a little cheaper and something with intregrated graphics

he's right, u dont really need a vid card for ur build. If u really want one, go for a cheaper one.

I'm grabbing a card just in case I need one in the future. In either case if you have any recomendaion could you please list an actual aternative option for me. I'm a first time builder and really just don't have much of a clue as far a matching things up, and what is good and what is just not good or cheap.

If you really want a video card but you dont play 3D games like you said, get a GeForce 8400 or 8500 series card
