this a good monitor?

probably from costco just because of there return policy. i will use it wtih mainly my xbox 360 and a little bit of computer usage. i want something wih really rich, disticnt blacks because the current monitor i am running on my 360, in some parts of gears of war, i cant see stuff because my monitor doesnt show the deatails of the blacks, it just shows the whole dark area like a dark grey color. and i want to be able to see in dark games, so will this do what i want? if not, could you give me a link to a monitor in the price range or below that is about the same size as this one that will give me what i want? thanks.

That is not a good brand name, and all you have to do is look at the first review posted on that page.

Pros: Very sharp, good color reproduction. Includes most any cables you'd need except for HDMI. There are mic/headphone jacks on the monitor, which could be handy if you play games online or use VOIP.

Cons: high amount of backlight bleed. not as good at rendering dark scenes as a CRT or a higher-end monitor (colors get very muddy when playing games with dark environments). the monitor stand is very cheap and hardly adjustable - if you're tall you might have to put the monitor on top of something else (a playstation 2 in my case). I couldn't get the USB ports working with my motherboard but I'm not certain that's the fault of the monitor.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for - it's a good monitor for the price but there's a reason you can get this much screen space for so cheap. Don't fool yourself into thinking you're getting a professional-level monitor for a song; it has definite image problems (see cons), but for the price it's quite nice.

thats a little small, bt if i t does what i want then it doesnt matter that much. so it displays good darks? i would prefer buying from costco so i can return it though
