Im not a hardcore gamer.. so i dont need nothing too fancy.. is the GeForce FX 5500 OC any good? only pci card i can really find.. worth buying or is it garbage?
 
well from what i kno, generally PCI cards are crap...what will you be doing? like do you want it to play some old games? b/c i think it would be best just to keep your money and stick with the video card or intergrated video you have now...
 
I agree, there's not much that's good for PCI. Are you sure it's the video card causing your problems?
 
Yes, i played guild wars on a 1400+ with a fx5200, and it ran prety nice, so that wouldnt be a problem.
the other games you mentioned should be able to set to max.

but, i would suggest you look for a fx5700LE on pci :)
its one of the fastest PCI cards ( im saying one of, bacause i dont know about the ati counterparts for shure)
