This computer worth buying?

I'm looking to buy a new computer, mainly just to be used for the internet, storing pictures music,basic things like writting school papers and such. Our current computer is just outdated and slow and I know some about computers but not enough to be sure I'm making a good buy.
Would anyone be kind enough to give their opinon on this computer or to suggest a computer in the $400-$700 price range that would well suite the needs?

Ya it sounds really good. The only thing I would do is maybe if you have the money for it, just to change the processor. But it is your call.

Why do people always say this about the Sempron series processor?

Theres totaly nothing wrong with them....Yes i know there nothing special compaired to other processors but still there quite good imo.

If i was to suggest something for the system hes looking at buying it would be the graphics.
If you do have the cash consider getting a graphics card.

I would definatly buy another sempron system.

I would buy that system, it has great specs for the basic needs of a home computer, and its not a half bad price either.

That's not a bad system, but one could certainlly be built for less.

As for Semprons, they are good processors. I have one in my laptop and normally I can't complain. However, it has been rather slow for my recent photoshop and programming projects. But it's perfect for just surfing the internet and such.

He has no need for any better graphics than integrated. He said basic uses, not extreme gaming.
