i'm pretty sure not. the motherboard on your notebook is using a 667mhz system bus, where as the new processor would require an 800mhz system bus.

Hmmm, are sure the CPU wouldn't just clock down to 667? For example I KNOW that people have put T9300's in.

And Cohen are sure? How can you tell?
