This USB device can perform faster if you plug it into a high speed USB 2.0 port.

This is the message I'm getting when I plug my Iphone 4 into my computer. Thing is, I'm using an asrock mobo with USB 2.0. It is enabled in BIOS and I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling all the USB drivers. Nothing seems to work, could the internal hub just be shot?

Do you plug your (rather lovely) iPhone in via an adapter, one that changes a USB 2.0 into two USB 1.1s? Otherwise it probably is shot :(
The good ol' days when apple gadgets were FireWire only :'(
So you've done all the stuff with the drivers? hmmm... :L

Make sure the usb ports are set for high speed in the bios and not full speed. Also look in device manager to make sure they say usb 2.0 or enhanced usb. The only other thing is that the usb port you are using may not be 2.0. Is this a case usb port? If so try using one of the motherboard usb ports in the back.
