This for real?

3) Can I overclock that CPU? Processor? I can't remember which one can be overclocked.

That is quite an old motherboard there, you would be able to overclock but its a pretty old board.

As for the power supply, since your in the uk you would need a link off overclockers:

Will the motherboard be able to handle games then? Or in time will it suffer?

Thanks for the links.

Actually, thats prolly a bit cheaper than what you could build it for, but its got a pretty low powered power supply(400W).

i am saying that because i made one with those specs for $350

well in time everything will "suffer", but i think its a good deal, btw are you taking into account the price for the os?

Its quite an old motherboard, i would recommend going with something that has an amd chipset in it as that board as far as i know, does not support phenom II processors.

Just incase you haven't had any dealings with overclockers.co.uk before, they're great. Delivery time is second to none and when i've had problems they've been quick and helpful dealing with them and their prebuilds are some of the best prices for a reputable company.

One thing i will say, avoid computerplanet.co.uk like the plague.

I was just ignoring the price of the OS to be honest and if I do buy that pc, I'll probably just buy the cheapest XP OS.

Ahh but buying a new PSU and new motherboard is going to seriously up the price?

Damn, thanks :good:.

At that point, you might as well just build your own, because if you upgrade it, the price between building a decent one and upgrading is negligible.
