Ok my computer is being stupid again. I was using systool's maximum overclocking option when my computer crashed, and gave me a bsod. So i rebooted and it ran a disc check. Then it booted into xp, right until the blue screen where i usually log on, but it would only say "windows xp" but doesn't show anything else, and it would just sit there. I tried using safe mode, no luck same thing. What the heck is going on...

You may need to reformat, or possibly, possibly buy a new CPU.

There is always a dangour in OCing as you know, its processes information, and if something is processed wrong due to being instable, then horrible things can happen.

pretty sure cpu isn't busted, as i can access my other xp partition perfectly fine, so i'm just gonna throw some drivers on that one if i can't rescue my current xp.

@vroom skies: I will reset the cmos, i was just seeing if there are other things to do, as my computer is a mess and its really hard to find the jumpers and the battery:P

Yeah, thats why the "possibly, possibly" you might need a new one, ussaly you dont, but it still could have messed up a file on the harddrive IME.
