Ok, so I made my girlfriend a program that displayed a little heart flashing, the thing is she cant delete the file. We tried looking in the taskbar, not there. So I made another program that will delete the program I sent her plus the program itself. It runs fine on myt pc, it deletes the other file and itself. But on her pc it wont delete either. And she cant elete it either. Any ideas ???

"a program" isn't too descriptive. what program did you use to make it? she might not have rights to delete files off her PC or something basic like that. not sure really without more info.
 
Why cant she delete it? I know it gives her an error saying that the program is still open, when it isnt. I sent the same file to my other pc trought my lan and I can delte it fine. All our machines are running XP. So, what could it be? The strangest thing is that the second program I made wouldnt erase it on hers but it did on mine. And I did everything myself, very simple stuff. A computer newbie might go "Oh, wow, oh, ah" but its really basic stuff. Its true what they say "They keep secrets hidding in books". That was till I opened up a few books I had taking up space in my closet. Now I love them so much....
 
r u talking to her on AIM? maybe since you sent her the file, and you are still chatting. the service you sent it to her on is still open and it's still using the connection? not sure.
