so i was at my friends house and u shoud know his rig specs (P4 2.7ghz, 512mb ram, some other mobo, and a SOMEWHAT decent video card...maybe the GPU costed him like $200 a year and a half ago so it wouldnt be TOO great in todays standards) anyways we were playing games and his system was killer..it rocked at gaming (in my opinion which is of course cuz i just upgraded from a 233mhz P2 comp)...

now i play games on system too, but it isnt nearly as decent at gaming as his (my system is in my signature)...im wondering if it is so horrible (getting 20fps in morrowind outside) because how i have integratted graphics which is really crappy,like my rig says geforce 6100...

im getting a 7600gt by summer hopefully and i wanted to get assureance that my system will kick the crap out of his...thats my main goal in life to beat him....:cool:

pointless thread??? more like pointless goal.... why try to be better, if it games to your standards, then dont over do it and spend more the needed

I over did it. (See Sig) I can play new games for years to come (more like 6 months the way things are going) but, anyways it saves money in the long run.

yes, going from a 6100 to 7600gt would yeild a huge difference in gaming, you might also want to upgrade to a gigabyte of ram soon.

sure it is. I got 1 gig and every game i've played has been lag free.

its not just upgrading from a 6100 to a 7600 though, its from integrated to dedicated, whihc is also a massive leap, even if you went from 6100 integraetd to 6100 dedicated would be an amzing increase. But yeh, that upgrade wil be hella noticeable, enjoy it, cos 2 months after you get it it will be useless for the "latest game"
