This...... or ....build?

Right, but... as far as money goes. this is all about money. frankly if the computer plays wow and cs good, i could not care about who made it, i would like a self made... but its all about price.

Can anyone give me an estimated price on a self built one... decent processor, decent vid card, 1gb ram... similar to the link'd pc above?
 
idk y ne 1 would consider buying a dell, it may cost 400 bucks, but it will be shitty, and to upgrade it to make it run descent u pretty much have to send to them or order the stuff from them cuz of compatibility issues, so y not build urself a computer, u dont even need to spend a shitload i was running wow and counterstrike on a ahton xp 3200, 2.2ghz, 512 ddr 3200 ram, and a geforce 5500 256mb which that wouldnt cost u more than prolly 250-300, and thats with a more updated vid card.
 
Just out of curiosity if you bought one of those Dells did you account for the extra cost of a graphics card and power supply? Because those things don't come with graphics cards and the on-board graphics wont play any of the new games. You can add an X1300 Pro for extra $$$ but those are sort of low end...they wont play anything in high resolution.

most of everyone on here builds their comp, so if u need help we could give u listings on what to buy for a basic computer that will not be great but u will be able to play games on it, like i said my old pc, now i have a pentium d 805 1 gb or ddr 667 ram, and a x850 pcie in and it works great for what i do, mostly web browsing, some web design, photshop and css i spent around 350 thats with a psu and hdd.. and we could all help u with putting it together
