Ok, I guess this is the latest thing going around. I have had it done by a few people I do know, and people I don't. They IM you saying: How do they do this? "this" is a link. Of course, I am not going to click it, because as most prolly know, I have been hacked through AIM before. Most of the times, you can put your cursor up to the link, and it will show you what the link is. Until now, none of them would let me do that. I finally got the link.

Probably somebody uploaded the script "index.php" to that server which starts a download of a malware. Nothing fancy... :P
 
Its a virus, rite when you click the link you get it somehow in your temporany internet files, lol , i guess i gotta go pull a reformat , AVG can't even remove it I dont think....

it's called "Java/Byteverify" This virus abuses the security vulnerability in Java Virtual Machine described in MS03-011, which gives posibility of runing potentially dangerous operation to java program (like working with files).

The fix is available on Microsoft web pages like WindowsUpdate.Microsoft.com

Well if you have a decent firewall + common sense i dont see a problem clicking the link ... even when i run the EXE, it gets trapped by the firewalll.....
