This is for a somewhat high end gaming rig, and I'm hoping that this is my final configuration for it. Just wondering if anyone sees any incompatibilities or just plain trashy parts. Thanks. ^_^

Why amd?
Intel is now the king of processors.
Intel is better clock for clock and overclock farther.
What will this system primarily be used for?
 
I would think you could do much better for the money. I would get an E8400, at least an 8800GT, 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, P35-DS3L (or like), cheaper power supply, and maybe a nicer case.
 
This is for gaming, like, I want to be able to play Bioshock and Starcraft 2 (when it comes out) on fairly high settings. Why an 8800GT though? Wouldn't 9600GT be better?

The 8800GT is better... for all of the following reasons..

The 9600GT is more of a new piece of technology which nvidia hoped everyone who wanted the latest gadgets to buy it.

The 8800GT has almost double the amount of stream processors. (not sure how important this is)

Don't quote me on the following.
The 8800GT has higher clock speeds?

Well, I dunno. $900 or under would be lovely as my parents are already frowning upon me blowing a lot of money on a high end computer. xD Still, a little wiggle room is fine.

6000+ is not the best processor. Rather unstable, ect... Get the 5600+ and OC to a 6000's speed, if not, get a Intel (recommended path)

Try getting the Antec 900 instead of that case.

And get some Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800 CL4 ($28 after rebates)

And your motherboard cannot SLi. Get the MSI 8800GTS G92 (less than $200 after rebates!:eek: A helluva good deal)
 
an e4500 would beat the 6000 at 3GHZ, and would overclock farther. and i believe its cheaper too. and some nice OCZ or Corsair would work great, just as long as they were cl4 and not 5
