Its a hec. The price on this the last time I was looking for one was 50 bucks. Got pretty good reviews. JUST $25 FREE SHIPPING!!!!! Should I get ?? My birthday is 2morrow, and I know I'm getting cash. $120 are for sure, so I could my my brothers 3850, and a few other things as well.

hec are alright low end units, but if you plan on running a dedicated video card with it, get a 500W Xclio Stablepower or ocz stealthxstream/modxstream.

It will work for a 3850. My 3870 is running on an A-Power 680W, with 31 amps total on the +12v rail. Works like a charm... but if you can, save for a bit more and get a quality PSU, which is what I didn't do.

Id recommend saving if you can... but the 3850 is a pretty low end card as is. How much you picking one up for? If you can get a 9600gt or gso for cheaper they perform same/better than a 3850, and might be able to chip more towards a psu.

Why 3850? How much are you get it for?
Don't pay more than $60, as you can get new 9600GT at $60...

Dont know much about hec power supplies. Think they made some older Antec and maybe a few Thermaltakes. Pretty sure they make alot of OEM supplies.

For a cheap supply I would rather go with something like a Topower.
Same price with free shipping. Thing is even a modular.
