Hi, my computer has no IDE slots, only SATA, so something like this should do the job shouldn't it? (I want to hook up an IDE hdd and an IDE dvd drive)

Yeap that'll do it. No RAID but that probably doesn't matter. For that price I guess you can't go wrong if that's what you need.
