thoughts on the new amd 7770?

what do you guys and gals think about the new AMD 7770 at the $150 price range how do you think it will compare to the older 6870 and the 6850 as well as the 560 or the 560ti? I havent seen any benchmarks yet have you?

Seems from the review, that the new models are a bit of a let down.

Dont really see a problem with the performance. It beats a 6770 by 20/25%. The problem is, its priced to high. Should be about 25 bucks cheaper. The way its priced, its the same as a 6850 which beats it overall. You would be better off right now getting a 6850.

I think that given a month or two we will see some good improvements, with manufacturers coming up with better designs, but as of right now its not worth it.

On the up side, they use much less power idle and load, plus less heat, meaning these should actually overclock and even out with a 6850 overclocked i guess. Although it is pretty sad that the 50 doesn't even beat the 5770/6770, at least it only costs 110, and that should drop some once more are out.

I dont see what you mean by that. The 7770 beats the 6770 by around 20/25%. The 7750 beats the 6750 by about the same amount. About what both should do. The problem is the 7770 price is too high compared to the 6770. Really for the performance/performance the 7750 vs. 6750 is priced better then the 7770.
