I would jump all over that... Not a bad system if you don't wanna build yourself, pretty good price, too. Beats the crap out of Dell's pricing, Dell would have you paying $2000 for that.

It's definitly a good deal. A quad core, decent video card and ram. Phenoms are decent quad cores. Not as good as the q6600, but not far behind. For the price though, it is unbeatable.

great system, and it seems its very upgradeable. IMO though, If I were you and I wanted to spend almost 1000 dollars, I would definately make my own computer. I could match that 1000 dollars performance of acer with 700 bucks (maybe less??) Plus you can overclock :) But if you don't wanna build your own rig, def that pc u chose is badass!

Nice, well I got my boss to order it. I'm gonna try and sell my current pc, minus video card, to pay for a chunk of it. I also really don't feel like building my own:P

Why do people always say that he q6600 is better than the phenom, I know many people that have both and they say there is no difference. You aren't using all 4 processors for any application out right now anyways, so there is no way to tell. Phenom is a true quadcore unlike the q6600 where it is 2 duo's linked, where there is a bottleneck of information.

Who cares ?

Q6600 performs better, consume less power and overclocks better

So, who really cares if it is a true Quad core or not ?

Clock for clock, the q6600 is faster. Although amd has a better architecture, the core 2 quad is still faster.

there isnt a bottleneck if its faster.....i mean yea there might be a little one, but they are faster than the "better" amd, im not an intel fan, im a computer fan, and right now intel has the edge imho
