three monitors. How to set up gfx cards?

Hi, i am intrested in setting up three monitors on one computer so i can have nice desktop space to play around with!

How would i go about connecting all three monitors to one computer? The current graphics card has the space for two monitors that im currently using. would i just be able to put in another (bit different) graphics card and then just plug the monitors in straight with two going to one of the gfx card and one monitor going to the other gfx card? Would there be any other configuration i would have to do or anything software wise?

Yes you can just buy another cheap graphics card (probably a PCI one), and install the drivers for it and just plug it in. That's what I did and it works great.
