What is throttling for a laptop computer wiht intell pent 4 3.06 with hyper?

are you asking what is throttling? it's the computers way of saving power, cutting heat. when the processor is not being used very intensly it "throttles back" meaning it cuts voltage and FSB. saves battery life, creates less heat, and i assume processor life, but who has problems with that anyway.
