Thumbnail Positions

some of my videos starts with a black screen. so xp displays them as black thumbnails.

but i noticed windows vista makes thumbnails in a different position.so that the user can identify videos from it's thumbnail.

is there any way to change xp's thumbnail Position ?
(may be editing a registry key or something)

i didnt find anything that simple but the latest version of SellToys XP states this as one of its features...

Movie thumbnails can now animate when the mouse hovers over them, displaying an in-place slideshow of frames from the movie to give an overview of the movie's content.
