Thunderbird email inserts a photo attachment into the message as well as the attachment. Please help

Hello everyone

I've Just downloaded Thunderbird. All good except it inserts a photo attachment into the message as well as the attachment.

Various Email help suggests "Go to view and uncheck..etc," but there is no such item in the view menu.

Please help, greeting to all

Which version of Thunderbird are you running?

Thank you CP30126. I have now deleted it out of frustration., but please tell me which version I should download and I will have another go.

You mean this option? It's there, uncheck it and it will no longer show the embedding. I just tested it out.
