tiered of your explorer.exe going away?

you know, when it goes away and then you have no bottom bar and you desktop icons are all gone? Well, i figures out how to get it back

1. press Ctrl+Alt+Del

2. go to file

3. new task (run)

4. type in "explorer.exe"

5. thank me for saving your butt.

man this would have been useful a week ago lol actually i just figured this out today when vista decided to go hay wire again, but nice little post this can be really helpful to those who don't want to loose work when explorer decides to fail niicee

this is only useful when you can't delete something because it is in used by another program.

It happens a lot to me when I click on the Sony Ericsson File Manager... Other than that, it never happens to me.
I found the steps you gave in a few month ago, they are really useful

Lol - I would've thought that's obvious to anyone when exlporer crashes/dies. You don't even need to enter the .exe part - just "explorer" will do.
