So Im going to need to get something pretty soon. My main use will be media/movies which I will ideally patch into my 60" LCD TV. Not much of a gamer, and not much for editing/producing either. I simply want to download HD content from the net and watch it on my TV instead of in the office. I was at Best Buy today and they had a Gateway with a HDDVD and Blu-Ray player in it. Thats great, but I already have a HDDVD player (I know, I know, their losing the format battle), but I also saw on HP's site that they have a Blu-Ray burner as an upgrade. I dont really feel like building my own, my brother already offered to help me, so a store bought package appeals to me. If you couldnt already tell HD is VERY important to me. Any advice?

Get a system with a blu ray player, try to look for a small case pc if you can. If all you do is play it on a HDTV, I think thats your best bet. I think iv seen a few like this atstores. Although why you dont just build one is beyond me. You dont need a monitor or speakers right? Well then why not just build the box itself? Its most likley going to be cheaper and more customizeable.
