Time Manager software - Automatic Day Planner

Hey people.

I'm new at this place, but I was hoping some of you might be able to help me.

I'm looking for a piece of software that is pretty much a calendar and a todo-list all together.

The main idea is this: I can input events that I have to attend to, like meetings, classes and stuff. Then it plots them into some visual presentation, like any other digital calendar. Then i would like to be able to have a todo-list, where I can input stuff that I have to get done, their priority level and a due date. Then the software would plot these task into my calendar as well, so it sort of tells me when I have the time to do them. This way I can put in some tasks, and it would automaticly sort them so I would get everything done in time. Then it would put them into the timetable and perhaps output a "Todays agenda" so I know when I have to do what.

My main issue is that I use a lot of time to figure out when I have the time to finish my tasks. I would like the software to do that for me instead. So the software would generate my everyday schedule. All I have to do is tell the software when what has to be done.

Do you understand what I mean?

Furthermore I would love to have it run on linux, and if it was able to "talk" with my android phone, it would be even better.

I hope you have some ideas for me. Thanks in advance.

You might find a lot of what you need in Google Calendar. I use it for the majority of what you wanted. I am not too sure about working with your Android though.

There is also a calendar built in to Evolution, the stock email client for Ubutnu.
