Timing and PC 6400 ?? PC2 6400

Ok second question here.

As I search for good parts to build my gaming rig and learn more and more every day, every now and then i get stumped with noobish questions like this one.

is 5-5-5-15 or 4-4-4-12 timing better performance?

And is PC 6400 The same as PC2 6400

cause the mobo im buying will only be taking 800 mhz ram so does the pc 6400 and pc2 6400 make a difference?

4-4-4-12 timing is better, though not by any significant amount. And I'm pretty sure PC2 and PC 6400 is the same, as there's no such thing as PC 6400 (DDR 1st generation) ram.

lower timings = better performance. The lower those numbers are, the better, but they don't massively impact performance.

and PC6400 and PC26400 is the same thing
