After I got my Galaxy Tab S, one of the first things I did was encrypt the device. The tablet never leaves my sight, so I'm wondering if I even need the encryption. In OneNote on the device I do have sensitive account information, and I do some online banking from the tablet. My complaint is that after I encrypted it I can't use pattern to unlock the screen, Android only allows access via a password when encrypted. It's a little time consuming to type in a password every time I want to use functions like the camera or messaging.
