Too Many Connectors...

I've got a PC in the kids play room that has one DVD drive and one hard disk -- so there are a lot of unused power-supply connectors. I recently had the case open for cleaning (lots of dust in that room) and got to thinking about the interior crowding. To reduce the clutter, could I simply clip off the unneeded connectors (with, of course, proper termination)? It's a cheap Logisys PS so I'm not concerned with limiting its future utility -- and I have no plans to add any new drives to that system. Just curious...

If it isn't overheating due to airflow restriction and you don't have a see through case I don't see the point of cutting them off.

I agree, you could cut them off, but you risk shorting out etc. I would just use cable ties to keep them nice and neat.
