Too Much Power?

This probably a dumb question... and u guys are going to point and laugh ate me... but... on the power source, on the red tab, it says 115, assuming that it is 115 watts. Is that the amount of power my computer is on and if it is, can i switch it to 330 watts without any worry. I heard that excess power is no problem because the PC only takes what it needs but im just making sure it doesn't blow out my system.

Thee red switch on the back of the PSU is not the wattage indicator, it's what you set depending on the amount of electricity your wall outlet supplies. If you're in America, it's 115, never change it. But say in Europe, its the higher setting (220 i think it is?) and it won't run on 115. Never boot with it set to the wrong one, or you might ruin it.

Really good to know...

That's really good to know, but i know ive heard somewhere where u can turn up the power or something like that... and no its not overclocking.

yes.. if youre in America.. dont set is to 230.
because europe uses a 50Hz freqeunty, and America uses 60Hz.
so if you have that set wrong.. you definately blow the PSU
