Tor Browser

Has anyone ever heard of this browser, that hides your IP address and location from web sites ? How much bother would it be to switch back and forth between Microsoft Edge and Tor Broser and back again to Microsoft Edge ? Is it a harmful browser to use ?

It just pipes everything through the Tor network, you can also visit .onion type of URLs but more often than not you wouldn't want to.

You can use both browsers at the same time, the Tor Browser just auto proxies all traffic over Tor.

Nothing harmful about it that I know of. I think what you may have heard about it being harmful has more to do with its associated use, but just for use as a regular web browser, it's not any more harmful than any other browser.
