Toshiba Battery

I'm having trouble with the battery on my laptop, I charge it and take it of the charger when it's full, and after 15 minutes it tells me it needs to be plugged in to avoid losing work. Any Idea what the problem could be?

It's a Tecra 8100 if that helps

do you have windows xp? if so you should have a battery optimizer. mine is under start/all programs/utilities/battery optimizer.

try this and see if it works. it takes a while to run, but it might fix the problem.

if not i would think you shold get a new battery.
