Toshiba Hard Disk Driver

Hello. I need a driver for a Toshiba 20gb Hard Drive
Model: MK2018GAS

I have Win98 on my IBM THinkpad now and this Hardrive (becasue of its driver issues) stops me from loading 2000, or XP. I have both 2000 and xp and i want to put 2000 on it. If anyone can get a driver that i can use when in Win2000 Setup that would be great. YES, i have read the error report in microsoft called; windows setup hangs when ''windows 2000 is starting up''.

I cant even get that far. As i stated it will NOT load the correct driver for the Hard Disk for the Windows setup to even start.

Hard drives don't really have specific drivers. They are loaded by windows automatically. If it's hanging up then the problem is something else. Did you boot off the windows 2000 or XP CD or did you just put the CD in while in Windows 98 and choose upgrade?
