Toshiba laptop cable/power

Hi,

I have a Toshiba laptop which I have unfortunately dropped a few times

When I put the power cable in at the side, it does not charge/power up. When I play around with he cable, prod it, turn it around when inside the socket, it works.

I know this sounds like a connection problem (with the cable socket to the actual slot at the side), but is there ANYTHING I can do to sort it????

Thanks

Yout shuld buy an universal charger and use it. I had the same problem bud my dad opend the charging adapter and replaced the cable with a new one and now it works fine..... (yeah i know he is a key maker but he know a lot of other stuff too;) ) Try getting a universal charger im pretty sure it will work OK

I had the same problem with the a35 or a25 series. A uni adapter did not work. SO I took the laptop apart and resoldered the connector back to the mobo and it was fine. About a year later the connector started messing up again so I soldered the power wire directly to the mobo and now it is used as a media server for my personal use lol.
