Hello veryone,

I hope this is the right place for my question.

My Toshiba's LCD screen lights no more. I have an HP monitor connected to it via cable. Working fine, accept.... When I try to watch a DVD, I get a message that tells me to quit the HP monitor to use the lap top's. Lap top's does not work so I'm in a dilemma. I need to be able to watch DVD's for research purposes. I am a model maker/sculptor and often freeze-frame a movie or have images on a DVD to model a physical model.

Is there a setting I can change to allow watching on the HP monitor. I really hope so as I cannot afford a new lap top, let alone a new bulb, $500.00!( gee, do they want me to buy a new laptop?)

Thanks in advance for any assistance!:good:

Regards,

Scott
