Any views/reviews on the Toshiba Satellite Pro A40 - Celeron + 14 would be gratefully appreciated.

For the benifit of anyone else not familiar witrh the notebook:
- intel® celeron® processor 2. 80ghz (128k l2)
- 256mb ddr ram
- 40gb hard disk drive
- intel® 852gm (up to 64mb shared)
- cd/rw-dvd rom
- 15. 0" tft (native resolution @ 1024x768)
- battery life: 2:54 theoretical
- price tag: $1200usd

for $1200 that's a "decent" system although personally I think you're spending more money than you should on it. With a quick bit of searching I found a couple better deals for you

I would just stay away from the Mobile Celerons -- not enough performance for the buck. You're probably better off with a mobile Athlon
