P Phumfeinz New Member May 1, 2005 #1 Are they the two same things? I'm asking because I want to get World of Warcraft and the minimum RAM is 256MB. My system says it has 192MB RAM, but in system information it says I have 256MB total physical memory. So, would World of Warcraft work?

Charlie7940 Member May 1, 2005 #3 Are you using onboard video? Click to expand... It looks like he is...I assume 64MB of the 256MB is devoted to the onboard video since 256-64 = 192. Now whether or not that qualifies for the 256MB requirement I am not sure...I'm sure someone else here may be able to help you out.

The_Other_One VIP Member May 1, 2005 #4 That's what I figured... Some programs will work even if you're low, but some require the exact amount... I know I was low by 2M and windows wouldn't let me finish installing on one of my old systems -.- VRAM is what took that 2M, of course.
