Totally Revamping My Computer

Hey guys, I need a bit of technical advice. I want to totally revamp my computer, everything. I'm currently running 1 gig of ram, 1.9 GHz, and a NVIDIEA GeForce 7600GT on a 500-watt PSU. I want to hit 4 gigs of ram, mid 2 GHz range, and a 9800 video card. Of course, to do this I will also need a PCI-E motherboard and windows vista. Everything is going except the case, sound card, moniter, and PSU.

Tell me if all these things look good, if they will run well, and if there is anything I'm missing.(Like a cheap upgrade or a sacrifice that should be made)

Motherboard & Processor(I'm no fan of AMD, but they had the best deal. 2.9GHz with a good motherboard for $137?)-http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.140533

Vista-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116488

Is there anything that could be sacrificed for equal performance? Any corrections need to be made? Will that run good games on fairly high settings? And lastly, will it all work on a 500-watt PSU?

I know this is a lot of trouble, thanks a TON if you get around to helping me :D.
