Touch Screen issue ...please help

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the touch screen.
My New Inspiron 3459 AIO 64bit Win10
About 7 or 8 little round balls about the size of a dime all in a row showing and flashing on the screen. The touch screen is doing weird things... zooming own it's on, brings up date-time window in the bottom right corner. It won't properly work or respond to my touch. I have shut it down and cleaned the screen twice but nothing is any different.

Is this a driver issue?

Also, I have disabled the touch screen in the Device manager and the little balls go away.

Please help.

Your touchscreen is defective. It's sensing ghost touches to the screen. I just purchased a Latitude E5550 at the end of November and am having the same issue.

Contact Dell and have support send a repair tech out. You may have to fight with them a bit since it's an Inspiron and you'll have crap support (unless you purchased pro support).

Hello voyagerfan99,
Dropping a note to you about my fix on the touch screen issue. My son said it sounded to him it was a driver issue. so I downloaded the latest driver from Dell, 177mb installed it and nothing was better. So I uninstalled the driver and looked through the driver list on the computer and came to a Microsoft driver, It dated 6-21-2006... I figured why not, nothing to lose. I installed it and Lo and behold it worked. No more little balls flashing and the touch screen works as it should. So I rebooted and again the touch screen was working fine, no more flashing balls. I went through their diagnostic test and everything was a pass. I contacted Dell tech support because I was so excited that this was working. They sent me a program to install to take over my computer to check it out and they thanked me for what I found. Said they were going to pass this to their Technical team. It's been working so far the past 5 days... So, here I am sending you the results for your information to try out for yourself.
Thanks for your help and Have a Good Day. :)

That won't work on my latitude unfortunately. It's a hardware issue because if you bend the screen the touch spots either increase or decrease in frequency.
