Hi. I have an Asus laptop, and I've been starting to have this problem today:
While writing a document in Microsoft Word, the marker started jumping around, making me write in the wrong places. After searching a bit on the internet about it, I found out that this is often because of the touchpad. Several tips said I should deactivate the touch-click function (you know, I tap the touchpad instead of using the button).
Anyway, I knew I had already deactivated this feature. Still, it was indeed activated. I went to control panel and checked it again. The settings say it's deactivated but it still works.
I even tried deactivating the whole touchpad, but it makes no difference. The touchpad works and especially the touch-click. This has never occurred before, and makes it almost impossible to write Word documents.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
