Touchpad Problem

i have purchaced a lap top month's ago now, and i have disabled the touch pad because i bought a mouse. i recently went to enable it again and it wouldnt work. the multimedia buttons dont work either. any ideas?

Where did you disable it? Are you trying to simultaneously use the mouse and the 'pad?

uh..you should play around in the bios. I had an old compaq p3 where this happen, and right in the bios it had an option to enable the trackpad

my laptop has "QuickLaunch" and its the program that makes the multimedia buttons work, try to see if your program that enables the buttons loads on start up.
