Touchscreen media PC, hows it look?

looking good. however, i wouldnt be putting vista on anything new without having a copy of xp sp2 around, just in case ;)

What are you going to be using this system for? Business related?

Why would you want a touch screen. You always have finger prints on it, the pixels burn out faster and usually they suck for gaming.

HP do a device that's an all in one and it's quite nice. It's like a panel with a whole PC built in and card readers etc.

That would be fine for just an internet machine. But for gaming or any other serious task, pass.

its for my friend's kitchen, for watching TV, Movies, and surfing the net. I wanted TV quality to be nice as well as movie quality. The HP was the inspiration to build this, but this can PWN that HP laptop crud any day IMO, and for the same price. Also that HP OS looked like a rip off of vista premium with only the media center in it.

YOu guys think the screen will just be plug and play with vista?
