Tough Ass Challenge...not For Noobs

Why is he trying to show off, he just wants to know if anyone can find that mobo any cheaper by tonight because thats when he's ordering it!

I am not trying to show off...i just want bang for my bucks...and this mobo has been sold-out for last three days at newegg and i need to buy computer and put them together in 1 week....From what i gather, newegg had its share of having DOA products...so, i am just saving myself sometime...

Sorry, if it sounded showy...anyway, which ASUS P5B are you refering to?
 
Just checked...horrible board containing horrible sound and it has IGP....this is not for laptop...lol =) Please can someone give me another mobo?
 
150.99 has poor sound, second one, GIGABYTE GA-965P-S3, what happens if you are missing SataII controller? does that effect alot of performance? Third, one doesn't look so bad.

I am looking for board with ddr2 800 and support LGA 775 that is under 150

is seem to have what i am looking for...yet the review is considerably worse that GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 Socket T (LGA 775), why is that?

Well we don't really know what you want or what you were looking for exactly. What kind of chip are putting in it? What are you hooking the sound into? How many speakers? What kind of gpu? We need this kind of info so we can narrow it down and help ya!

I am going to put Conroe 2.16 with XFX PVT71PUDP3 GeForce 7900GS 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 EXTREME Video Card as GPU, speaker i am thinking of 5.1 (so 8 port would be preferable) since I am planning of not getting a sound-card for a bit, and finally, I want to have ddr2 at 800

The DS3 is the exact same as the S3 except the S3 doesn't have all solid capacitors.
