Tower and Monitor Compatibility ???

Hello. I just bought a SFF Dell Optiplex GX280 tower. I was wondering if I should buy a new flat panel monitor to go with it just in case my old monitor didn't work with the tower. So my question is, Do you think my old gateway EV500 monitor will work the dell? Thanks!

If the connectors match then it'll work out of the box. If the connectors don't match, all you need to do is buy an adapter.

ya either VGA (older) or DVI (newer-LCD) or possibly HDMI (slim chance). They make adapters to switch between the two. It looks like the Dell documentation says the system has integrated video with a DVI connection...
